Pronounced zap me
, this was the catch phrase for requesting a specialty cocktail at the XAPPmedia Launch Party earlier this month. I had the pleasure of collaborating with XAPPmedia to produce their milestone celebration at NPR Studio 1 in Washington, DC. Below are some of the highlights … to inspire your next marketing event.
Digital photos and company logo were displayed on the Mosaic Wall as guests entered the NPR building. Key messages scrolled on the ticker tape.
Blue and pink overhead lights illuminated, and softened, the event space.
Votive candles in the shape of XAPPmedia’s logo were displayed on the cocktail tables; a great branding idea and less expensive than several floral arrangements.
To enhance the vibe of this start-up tech celebration, DJ Dan of Bialek’s Music played down-tempo lounge music and subtly mixed it up with retro Michael Jackson and more modern options like Imagine Dragons. It sounded great!
Delicious hors d’oeuvres were displayed on a food buffet as well as passed by servers.
A tall, modern arrangement of blue, pink and green flowers enhanced the food buffet, and reinforced XAPPmedia’s corporate colors.
Lastly, XAPPmedia sent guests home with a branded t-shirt and an opportunity to win a Jambox for downloading their app.
I had a great time producing XAPPmedia’s Launch Party. I’m grateful to my client, Lisa, for referring me to her colleagues and appreciate the hospitality extended by the NPR Events team (email@example.com), who also shared many of these professional photos with me.
